Meet Miosotis Pantoja

Row New York is excited to announce our new Chief Program Officer (CPO) is Miosotis (Mio) Pantoja. Mio has been Row New York’s Director of Academics and College Readiness for the last two years. As the Chief Program Officer, she will oversee our academic and rowing programs. She will work closely with the other members of our senior leadership team and manage our four program directors.

Mio has over 13 years of experience in the youth development field. She was previously the Managing Director of Out of School Time Initiatives at the YWCA of the City of New York, Program Director at Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility and the Associate Director of High School and College Program at Harlem Educational Activities Fund (HEAF).  Mio has also served as the Alumni Committee Chair at HEAF and volunteered as a mentor. 





Mio is always ready to lend a hand. Here she is at a learn to row event.




Mio has a B.A. in International Studies from Middlebury College and a M.S. degree in Nonprofit Management from The New School University. Mio loves spending time with her husband and three year old at local parks in Brooklyn.
