Circuit/System Verification
1. Clear the DTC information.
2. Turn the ignition OFF for 1 minute.
3. Turn the ignition ON.
4. Retest for DTC P2534.
Circuit/System Testing
1. Ignition OFF, disconnect PIM connector X1.
2. Ignition ON, test the voltage on the ignition 1 circuit, between connector X1 terminal 20 and ground. The voltage should be within 0.5V of
actual battery voltage.
瀚慖f not within the specified range, test the signal circuit for a short to ground or open/high resistance. If the circuit tests normal, replace the
PIM.
