3. Ignition ON, verify that a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuits listed below and ground.

* Terminal 1

* Terminal 25

瀚慖f the test lamp does not illuminate, test the appropriate circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.

4. If all circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.

Repair Instructions

Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification (See: Verification Tests) after completing the diagnostic procedure.

Circuit/System Description

The electronic brake control module (EBCM) uses input from the boost pressure sensor for more accurate control during brake and vehicle stability

enhancement system (VSES) event. The boost pressure sensor is internal to the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV).

Conditions for Running the DTC

* The ignition is ON.

* Ignition voltage is greater than 10 volts.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

C012F 00, C12A7, C12DC

Solonoid feedback current greater than 25% of commanded current.

C012F 0E, C12DD

Solonoid feedback current greater than 50% of requested current.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

* The EBCM disables the ABS/traction control system (TCS)/vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) for the duration of the ignition
