This Section Is A No Brainer

This Section Is A No Brainer

As you know I just announced from my last post that I just acquired a Mercedes Benz E240 (W210) and I am very excited to get this project start as soon as possible. Here are some titles you will see frequently from my blog as I have already set out how this project car will be heading. Hopefully it will be a smooth sailing project and with my estimation I hope to have this car completed before I move into my new home which will be ready in mid 2018! Although the car is still in good working conditions it is better to have everything thoroughly checked as it will be a daily driven car. I am planning to have the body fully respray to a totally different color. A new set bodykit is a must for this car and at the same time repairing any body parts that are broken or missing. Will also check out any W210 aftermarket accessories such as LED head & tail lamps to spice up the car! This section is a no brainer, will involve upgrading to bigger wheels and also any footwork problems. This will involve replacing all worn leathers and any interior electrical failure(hopefully there is non). I am thinking of sending the whole interiors to KK, Malaysia to have it fully refurbish with a new leather interior! This category will also repair any broken dash or door panels. Again like the exterior, aftermarket accessories will be taken into consideration as well! This is my favorite section for all the cars that I owned. I will be removing the stock player and replacing it with something more powerful. Speakers will all be replaced and of course a sub-woofer will be added in for that extra boom! Its quite sad many modern car no longer has DIN hole for after market I.C.E. Many car manufacturers had joined venture with after market company for standardising their ICE with their car models. E.g Dodge has Alpine and JEEP has the Harmon/Kardon.

This voice-command system is impressive in theory, but not flawless. If that鈥檚 Artificial Intelligence than I鈥檓 happy with the real thing. Alexa has nothing to fear from Mercedes. I don鈥檛 know what might happen if you had someone called Mercedes in the car. Mercedes, by the way, was the name of the daughter of an Edwardian-era car dealer who named his racing Benz after her - Mercedes Jellinek. In a way you鈥檙e saying hello to her spirit. The A-Class cabin is generally up to the standards of its larger siblings these days, and the 鈥渢urbofan鈥?look of the air vents is especially cool. The ambient lighting that alters with your driving mood and style is also fun, but I鈥檇 have to say that it doesn鈥檛 quite possess that cosseting, blood-pressure-reducing effect that sinking into an E-Class or a CLS gives you. All done, then, it鈥檚 about twice the price of a Ford Focus, a Golf or a Vauxhall Astra, but with a premium air, a nicer face and some superb screens.

Pressing this engages the electric parking brake, and pulling releases it. It is also released automatically as soon as the engine is running, the transmission is in the D or R position, the driver has a fastened seat belt and the accelerator is operated. The emergency braking is interrupted as soon as the control element is no longer kept depressed. The new SL includes the Torque Vectoring Brakes system as part of its standard specification. This ensures an additional safety margin at the physical limits, makes the roadster even more agile and therefore enhances its sportiness. The system achieves this with targeted, one-sided braking intervention by the Electronic Stability Program ESP at the inside rear wheel when cornering. If ESP detects a tendency to understeer, the Torque Vectoring Brakes generate a defined turning or yawing moment around the vehicle鈥檚 vertical axis within fractions of a second. Thanks to the different torque distribution that results, the SL turns into the bend under precise control without any loss of handling dynamics. As part of its standard specification the SL 350 is fitted with 17-inch light-alloy wheels with 255/45 R17 tyres - options ranging up to 19-inch wheels are available for selection on request.

Owning a Mercedes luxury vehicle can be a challenge if you need to have repairs done. You really should take it to a Mercedes Dealer for repairs. If you own a specialty, luxury vehicle like a Mercedes, you will want to go to a Mercedes dealer when you need to have repairs done. That might be inconvenient if you do not have one nearby. You might have to drive several miles to get to one, but it will be worth it to get the service your luxury vehicle needs at a place that knows the product. Some people might think a dealership is just a place to purchase vehicles. This is not the case. Yes, they can help you find the right vehicle, but they will also likely have a mechanic and garage there so that vehicle owners can bring in their automobiles for routine maintenance or major repairs. Some things that are under warranty might actually be free if you go right to the dealership. If there is no actual Mercedes dealer in the near vicinity of your home or work, you can go to a regular mechanic.
