To celebrate Independence Day, Washington Crossing Historic Park is hosting a Rebels and Redcoats Classic Car Show. All cars entered in the show must be American, British, French or German, representing the four countries that fought in the American Revolutionary War. Additionally, vehicles must have been produced in 1994 or earlier in order to be shown.
For the second consecutive year, the car show is part of the Independence Day weekend at the historic park, joining readings of the Declaration of Independence, opportunities to play 18th century games, and guided tours of the park.
The car show will take place on Saturday, July 6, at the Washington Crossing Historic Park in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania. For more information, visit WashingtonCrossingPark.org.

After careful consideration, the Board of Directors at the National Corvette Museum have selected Dr. Sean Preston as the museum’s new President and CEO. Dr. Preston joined the museum on July 1st, replacing Wendell Strode, who will retire following 23 years of CEO/Executive Director duty at the museum.
Preston, a lifelong-educator, plans to expand on the academic aspect of the museum and create “new and exciting exhibits.” He has previously served as the Founding Foreign Consulting President for the American School of Zhengzhou in Zhengzhou, Henan, China; the Founding President of John Crosland School in Charlotte, North Carolina; the Executive Director of Cypress Heights Academy in Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and the president of Edison Independent High school in Oregon.
Preston, owner of two Corvettes himself (a 1954 and 1972), says he is excited to join the National Corvette Museum and hopes to help it become “one of the most attended and supported car museums in the world.”
