Comment on How Lee Iacocca leveraged the K car’s success to save Chrysler by Joe Essid

A lot of us did find better cars, to wit my girlfriend’s 80 Corolla liftback. Slowly but surely Detroit made a Japanese-car owner of folk like me. My 95 Saturn was the last straw. Patriotism only went so far when the cars were ugly, like the K car, or just crap, like my SL2 and 80s-90s Buicks.
