Comment on How Lee Iacocca leveraged the K car’s success to save Chrysler by steve jesus

I was in suto dealer service departments in the seventies and eighties. Just a terrible time for American auto makers. Driveability and quality was terrible not to mention bizarre styling. If it wasn’t for the Japanese manufacturers with their low cost reliable kicking American butt in the showrooms of the country, Detroit would have never produced better cars. We all have Japan go thank for forcing Detroit into getting their acts together.
