Comment on Before the Monte Carlo victories, Whizzo won the Mini Cooper S’s first international rally by altrav

I am a little confused, you see the picture of 120MNP, if memory serves, is a ‘Mini Minor’, which came out with an 850cc engine.
I owned several Mini’s in my day and the doors on 120MNP are clearly those of an 850 Mini Minor, with sliding split windows, and not one piece ‘wind ups’.
The grille, which of course could have been changed during restoration, resembles that of a ‘Deluxe’ model.
Not exactly the same, mind you but similar.
The cross bars seem a little thinner than the ‘Deluxe’.
Anyway it was possibly altered when it was originally prepared for racing back in the sixties, if this car is a faithful reproduction of the original 120MNP.
