2019 Renault Duster Facelift Launched At Rs 799 Lakh



  • Gets cosmetic changes like a new front grille and headlamps.

  • Available in two new shades: Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown.

  • Features an updated infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

  • Powered by the same 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines.


The Duster which was initially launched in 2012 was not the first model from. But it can definitely be credited with popularising the French brand in India. The SUV was a runaway success right from the get go, and Renault has now updated it to keep it relevant against its fast growing competition. Launched today, the facelifted Duster is priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

The facelift comes with new projector headlamps, LED DRLs and a redesigned front grille with chrome accents. It also gets new roof rails and other cosmetic changes like the restyled bonnet, front bumpers, black inserts on the tailgate and new alloy wheels. The new Duster is also available in two new shades: Caspian Blue and Mahogany Brown.



Moving on to the interior, the facelifted gets different upholstery, new steering wheel and a revised 7.0-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, voice recognition and EcoGuide along with an Arkamys sound system. The round AC vents have made way for rectangular ones and the passenger side dashboard now features a new strip in the same shade as the exterior. Safety features on offer include dual airbags, ABS, parking sensors and speed warning as standard on all variants. Most of the features from the current iteration has been carried forward to the facelift along with the powertrain options. The facelifted Renault Duster is also compliant with BNCAP front, side andamp; pedestrian crash norms and safety features stipulated by Indian laws.



The same 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engines are powering the facelifted Duster.The 1.5-litre petrol puts out 106PS of power and 142Nm of torque, while the 1.5-litre diesel produces 110PS and 248Nm. The same 1.5-litre diesel engine is also available in a lower state of tune: 85PS and 200 Nm. The petrol variant is mated to 5-speed manual and CVT, whereas the diesel comes paired with the 6-speed manual or an AMT.
