For decades supercars were never thought of as daily drivers. They were too powerful, too uncomfortable, and just plain difficult to handle in traffic. Owners were left with driving their Ferraris and Lamborghinis on weekends on back country roads and empty highways. But in 2007 Audi launched the R8 and the definition of a supercar was changed forever. The R8 was actually an exotic owners could easily live with day to day, and yet it was still ridiculously powerful. Above all, it was, and still remains, something very special.
